Although a Google search for “Spa Sensations mattress website” doesn’t turn up much, the mattresses are sold primarily on retail marketplaces like Walmart, Wayfair, and Amazon. The use of Chinese manufacturers keeps prices low and allows this brand’s mattresses to remain competitive for price-conscious shoppers.

The Spa Sensations mattress was delivered to us within the expected time frame. Sometimes mattress boxes can be damaged by the shipping and delivery process. To account for this, most bed-in-a-box companies wrap their mattresses in multiple layers of durable plastic protection to compensate for any mishaps during the transit process. 

The Spa Sensations mattress box came sealed with heavy-duty tape. In order to open this box, customers will definitely need scissors or a knife to open the box. To make sure that your purchase isn’t harmed, be careful when using sharp objects to open the box. For buyers who anticipate a long move from the front door to the bedroom, it should be pointed out that the Spa Sensations mattress box has a top rubber and fabric handle as well as two wheels. This makes the mattress particularly easy to move around.

Once opened, the compressed mattress is easy to remove from the box. We recommend a ‘tip-and-pull’ motion to slowly slide the mattress out from its cardboard container. The Spa Sensations 8-inch spring is a hybrid mattress, albeit one that leans more heavily towards the “spring” end of the hybrid spectrum.

This mattress is available only in one firmness option. With this model, Spa Sensations has taken a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach which is not uncommon for many mattress-in-a-box companies.

Spa Sensations Mattress Layers

The Spa Sensations mattress utilizes a two-layer construction:

• First layer: 1 inch of comfort foam. This top layer of foam will give you a feeling of comfort and softness when you lie down.

• Second layer: 7.5 inches of pocketed springs. These spring coils are designed to add support and firmness to the mattress.

Of note: Additional fabric and fiber padding are also a part of this mattress’ construction.

Spa Sensations Mattress Cover

The Spa Sensations mattress sports a simple, all-white cover. On the very top of the mattress there’s a jacquard-knit pattern of alternating octagons with small squares on the ends. Along the sidewalls, the mattress has a straightforward triangle-based pattern of the same color. This top cover is 100% polyester. Although there are some mattresses with machine-washable cover, the Spa Sensations cover is spot-clean only and cannot be removed and placed in the washing machine.

Bargain hunters, students, and other price-conscious buyers will have a hard time finding a spring mattress priced as competitively as the Spa Sensations 8-inch spring mattress.

Even so, the mattress is quite soft despite having just one firmness option for buyers. This makes it less than ideal for buyers who want pressure point relief and support from their mattress. In addition, the lack of edge support with this mattress may limit where and how a person can comfortably sleep at night. Since the Spa Sensations mattress is sold primarily through various online retailers, warranty and return policies can vary widely depending on where the product was purchased.
